What should I do if the rider delays pickup after printing the manifest?

If pickup timing varies, prepare orders in separate batches based on the rider’s usual collection times and create a separate carrier manifest for each batch. For example, if pickups normally happen around 11am and 4pm, scan and generate one manifest for the first batch and another manifest for the later batch.

To reduce issues when orders are cancelled after the manifest is printed, print or scan the manifest as close to pickup time as possible. If you notice a cancelled order in the scanned list before handover, use the delete function to remove that cancelled order from the manifest list. If you want to minimise this risk further, scan the parcels only when the rider arrives, although this may take more time during pickup. The manifest also helps record that pickup was delayed and helps check whether orders were cancelled before handing them to the courier.
