What should I do if my channel token has expired?

You only need to take note of Token Expired Date column as you will need to reauthorize it before its expired, and you may ignore API Token Expired Date column, as it will auto-renew by our backend.

Here is a quick summary of what to expect and what to do:

How each token behaves

Channel

Token behaviour

Shopee

You only need to reauthorize when the Token Expired Date (around 1 year) is approaching.

Lazada

You only need to reauthorize when the Token Expired Date (around 180 days) is approaching.

TikTok

The Token Expired Date shown in the system may appear to expire every 7 days, but it is auto-renewed by the backend. You only need to reauthorize once per year.

What happens when a token expires

If a sales channel token has expired:

  • Orders, stock, and product updates will not sync until the channel is reauthorized.
  • You may see errors such as "Please reauthorize this sales channel to proceed" or arrange shipment fails.

How to reauthorize

  1. Go to Settings > Sales Channel > Authorized Channel.
  2. Find the affected channel store.
  3. Click more (...) > Reauthorize / Update Token.
  4. Follow the authorization steps for that marketplace.

After reauthorization, verify that the Authorized Time is updated to today and the Token Expired Date is refreshed. If orders placed during the expired period did not sync automatically, contact the support team to resync them.

Note: The token expiry date shown in SiteGiant is the marketplace integration token date only. It is not related to your SiteGiant package or contract expiry date.
