How to use inventory linking for Shopee stocks

Overview

Inventory linking uses the stock quantity in SiteGiant as the source of truth. It does not use the stock quantity from Shopee.

If you want Shopee inventory to match SiteGiant, update the stock in SiteGiant first, then let the linked stock sync to Shopee. To update stock in SiteGiant, use Inventory Adjustment, Stock In / Stock Out, or import a stock adjustment file.

After the product is linked correctly, SiteGiant will push the linked stock quantity to Shopee.

How inventory linking works for Shopee

  1. Go to Inventory > Inventory Linking.
  2. Select the Channel Store.
  3. Search for the product.
  4. Update the latest iSKU in the Draft Listing field.
  5. If the existing linked iSKU is wrong, click Reset and set the correct iSKU.
  6. Click Confirm.
  7. Click Review Draft Listing at the top right.
  8. Click Confirm and Save Listing at the top right.

Important sync direction

  • Sync Back Product updates product information from Shopee Seller Centre to SiteGiant.
  • Inventory quantity does not sync from Shopee to SiteGiant through inventory linking.
  • To make Shopee stock follow SiteGiant, adjust the quantity in SiteGiant and the linked stock will sync to Shopee.
  • If you need to update many linked items at once, you may use Parent iSKU to batch manage stock and push the linked quantity to the channel.

  • System stock will follow SiteGiant, not Shopee.
  • After linking, set the Parent iSKU and tally the stock.
  • The linked stock quantity in SiteGiant will update the linked channel, including Shopee.

Shopee Singapore direct shop

For Shopee Singapore direct shop, inventory linking is not available in the latest direct shop integration.

Shopee Singapore direct shop follows the main Shopee store listing from Shopee Malaysia and uses the same linked iSKU from the Shopee Malaysia store.

The stock quantity updates based on orders and will update accordingly because both use the same iSKU.

Which Shopee products are not linked manually with inventory stock?

Shopee direct shop products are not linked manually with inventory stock in the direct shop channel.

This applies to direct shop listings such as Shopee SG direct, Shopee TH direct, and Shopee PH direct that follow the main Shopee store listing.

To manage these products, make sure the product is linked correctly in the main Shopee store first. The direct shop will then follow the same listing and linked iSKU.

If you need to refresh the direct shop listing after the main shop linking is completed, go to Settings > Sales Channel > Authorized Channel and click Sync Back Product for the direct shop.

For non-direct Shopee stores, inventory linking still needs to be done separately from Inventory > Inventory Linking by selecting that specific channel store.

  • System stock will follow SiteGiant, not Shopee.
  • To update stock in SiteGiant, perform Inventory Adjustment, Stock In / Stock Out, or import a stock adjustment file. After the quantity is updated in SiteGiant, the linked stock will sync to Shopee.
  • If you use Tally All Channels Inventory, the stock is pushed from SiteGiant to Shopee. It does not pull Shopee stock back into SiteGiant.
  • After linking, set the Parent iSKU and tally the stock.
  • The linked stock quantity in SiteGiant will update the linked channel, including Shopee.
  • If you rename a product or change its image after it has already been linked, the linked inventory item does not automatically change to match the new product name. If you want the inventory item name to match the product name, update the inventory item details manually.
  • If the same item is sold under different product names across channels, the stock link can still work as long as both listings are linked to the same inventory item / iSKU. During stock in or stock adjustment, refer to the linked inventory item name / iSKU in SiteGiant.
