Overview
If your Shopee store shows errors such as unable to retrieve, orders not syncing, or Please reauthorize this sales channel to proceed for arrange shipment, the Shopee token may have expired.
How to reauthorize Shopee token
- Go to Settings.
- Click Sales Channel.
- Open Authorized Channel.
- Look for your Shopee store.
- Click the more (...) button.
- Click Reauthorize / Update Token.
- Log in to the correct Shopee account and complete the authorization.
After reauthorization, check that:
- the Authorized Time is updated to today
- the Token Expired Date is around 1 year later
Then return to your listing or order page and try the action again.
Important notes
- If you do not receive the Shopee verification code or confirmation email, please check your Shopee email/phone number first.
- If the code is still not received, please contact Shopee Support, as the verification code is sent by Shopee.
- For Shopee, you may see both API Token Expiry Date and Token Expiry Date. The API Token Expiry Date can be ignored because it is renewed automatically by the system. Only refer to the Token Expiry Date to decide whether reauthorization is needed.
- If you are unable to get the OTP during login, you can try disabling Allow SMS as additional account verification method in Shopee Seller Centre > Settings > Shop Settings > Basic Settings, then try reauthorizing again. Once reauthorization is complete, you can re-enable the SMS verification setting.
- If clearing the browser cache (cookies and cached data) does not resolve the OTP issue, please contact Shopee Support directly, as OTP delivery is managed entirely by Shopee.
- After the token is updated successfully, go back to the affected listing, product, or order page and retry the action.
When should you reauthorize?
You should reauthorize before the Token Expired Date, not after. SiteGiant will display a red notification reminder on the homepage a few days before expiration. You do not need to wait for the token to fully expire before reauthorizing.
