How To Export Orders With Customer Data Included

Overview

You can export online orders from Orders > All Orders. The export is available on a monthly basis only, so you need to filter the order date range first before exporting.

Steps to Export Orders

Go to Orders > All Orders.
Choose whether to export all channels or a selected channel.
Click Filter.
In the Order Between field, set the order period.

Note: Export is limited to 1 month per export.

Click Apply.
Click ... > Export Orders.
Choose the export type:

Order Info, or
Order Info with Products

Click Export by filter results > Export.

Customer Data in Order Export

The order list export does not include the customer's name in the exported order list.

If you need customer information, you can view it in the shipping details of the order.

If you need to extract customer details in bulk, the available workaround is to export the order info from Orders > All Orders.

Customer-Based Reports (Total Orders & Total Spent)

There is currently no customer-based report in SiteGiant. The system does not support exporting a customer list that includes per-customer total orders or total spend data.

As a workaround, export the orders from Orders > All Orders and use the customer details in the order export to manually trace each customer's order history and spending. If you need to filter by a specific customer, apply the relevant filters before exporting.

For orders beyond the current year, use the date filter to select an earlier date range and export selected orders month by month.

Export Limits

Orders can only be exported if they are available in Orders > All Orders.
Orders that are not synced into SiteGiant cannot be exported.
The export is limited to 1 month per export.
For older data, export the orders month by month using the date filter.
There is currently no faster export method available in the system for this use case.
