How do I update my shipping settings for products on my webstore?
You can update webstore shipping settings from Settings > Shipping Method.
Update shipping price
Go to Settings > Shipping Method and edit the shipping method to update the shipping price.
After making changes to your webstore settings, click Clear Cache so the latest settings appear on your live store.
Update shipping zones and postcodes
To limit customer shipping options by postcode or selected areas, go to Settings > Shipping and edit the shipping zone or add a new shipping zone.
This postcode setting is for your customer delivery area, not your pickup location.
Set warehouse pickup as a shipping method
If you need customers to pick up their order at your warehouse, you can add it as a shipping method.
For the shipping zone details, select the calculation type as Per Order. The courier field can be left blank if needed.
If you want to use the built-in pickup location feature, it is available for OMO Essential package and above.
External forwarder or customer-arranged pickup
If you need to create a manual order that will be shipped to an external forwarder or collected by the customer’s own transport, the order will be created under the Webstore sales channel.
To make the shipping option available, fill in the Shipping Address, including the correct City and Postcode. You can use the forwarder’s warehouse address as the shipping address.
If the shipment is customer-arranged pickup, you can set up a pickup shipping method. For paid plans, the built-in pickup-from-store feature is available with OMO Pro Plan.
Product weight and shipping calculation
Webstore shipping charges are calculated based on the weight set in the webstore listing, not the inventory item weight.
If the shipping fee is not as expected, check the product weight in the webstore listing and its variants.
Free shipping settings
You can set free shipping based on a minimum purchase amount in the shipping settings.
At the moment, the webstore does not support:
- assigning a specific shipping method to a specific product
- setting free shipping by minimum amount for specific products only
If you need a product to have direct free shipping with no minimum amount, you can set it in the product edit page. For products with variants, open Edit option details to configure it.
Important limitations
Currently, webstore products cannot be restricted to only one specific shipping method by product.
For example, you cannot set product A to use only one courier and product B to use another courier only.
