How do I set an item to out of stock?

To stop customers from purchasing an item, set the item status to Out Of Stock. Once the status is set to Out Of Stock, the stock quantity will become 0 for all linked platforms, and customers will no longer be able to place orders for that item.

How to set an item to Out Of Stock

Go to Edit Inventory Item > Restock Details and change the stock status to Out Of Stock.

To set it back to available, change the stock status to Available and the item will be purchasable again.

Bulk update to Out Of Stock

If you need to apply this to many items at once, use the Excel Batch Edit feature to bulk update inventory items to Out Of Stock. After bulk editing, use the parent iSKU tally to sync the stock update across marketplaces.

Out Of Stock for kit items

For kit items, if the kit is locked because there are remaining orders, you will need to complete the remaining orders first before editing the kit. As a temporary workaround, you can set the item to Out Of Stock first to pause new purchases while completing the remaining orders, then edit the kit, and finally set the status back to Available so customers can purchase the item again.
