How do I manually adjust inventory stock in SiteGiant?
You can manually adjust inventory stock in SiteGiant from the Inventory Adjustment feature.
Steps
- Go to Inventory > Inventory Adjustment.
- Add the inventory item from the adjustment page. Do not use the item name search bar in All Inventory Items for this process.
- Search and select the required iSKU or item.
- Enter the new stock quantity or the quantity change for the item.
- Save the adjustment.
Important notes
- Stock cannot be adjusted from marketplace channels (e.g., Shopee, Lazada) back to SiteGiant. All stock must be managed from SiteGiant, and the updated quantity will sync out to the linked channels.
- If an item is linked to marketplace channels, the adjusted stock will update to the linked channel listing.
- If needed, go to Inventory > All Inventory Items > click item name > Associated Products > Tally All Channels Inventory to make sure all linked channels receive the updated stock.
- After a stock adjustment, you do not need to manually click "Tally All Channels Inventory" — the sync happens automatically. However, it is good practice to run a tally periodically (e.g. weekly or biweekly) via the Parent iSKU to keep all channels in sync.
- For bulk adjustments, use the Bulk Edit (batch edit) feature to update stock on hand for multiple items at once. After a bulk adjustment, a manual tally is not required.
- Once all marketplace listings are linked to an iSKU and stock is adjusted in SiteGiant, subsequent stock movements from new orders will be deducted automatically across all linked channels.
- For items fulfilled by Shopee Warehouse / Fulfill By Shopee (FBS), SiteGiant does not deduct stock when FBS orders sync back. After moving stock to Shopee Warehouse, you need to manually reduce the quantity in SiteGiant using stock adjustment.
- If an order return cannot restore stock because there was no inventory linking before the order was placed, you can use manual stock adjustment instead.
- For batch updates, you can update stock in bulk with Batch Edit and set the new stock on hand for multiple inventory items.
- If adjusting stock under a Parent iSKU, you still need to enter the quantity change for each item individually. If an item has no change, remove that row before saving.
