How can I open a webstore on SiteGiant?

You can build a webstore directly from your current SiteGiant system.

Before you start

Each SiteGiant system includes 1 built-in webstore.

If you have not used your built-in webstore yet, you can start building it from your current account.

If you want to create another webstore, you will need another SiteGiant account, because 1 SiteGiant account can only have 1 webstore.

How to open your webstore

  1. Log in to your SiteGiant account.
  2. Integrate Webstore at Settings > Sales Channel.
  3. Go to Webstore > Webstore Builder to start building your webstore.
  4. Design and set up your webstore pages, products, and content.
  5. When ready, use your webstore link to let customers visit and place orders.

No option to click? If the Webstore menu is not visible or not clickable, you may not have the permission to access it. Ask your store owner (admin) to enable the webstore permission for your account via Settings > Account and Staff Management. After the permission is granted, log out and log back in.

Domain setup

If you want to use your own domain, you can point your domain or subdomain to the SiteGiant webstore.

For example, you may create a subdomain such as shop.yourdomain.com from your domain provider, then point it to your SiteGiant webstore after your webstore setup is ready.

If you need help with domain pointing or domain updates, email to our domain team at support@sitegiant.my.

Domain requests require written documentation and merchant confirmation.

If you have not applied your own domain yet, your webstore can use a temporary SiteGiant link for access which you can get at Setting > Domains.

Webstore order status

Webstore orders do not update their status automatically. You will need to manually update the order status in SiteGiant after delivery or any status change.

Membership & Loyalty Program

The Membership / Loyalty Program feature (e.g. points, cashback vouchers, membership tiers) requires an OMO add-on subscription. It is not included in the standard ERP plan.

To get pricing or subscribe to OMO, contact our Sales team.

  • A webstore is a website where customers can browse products and place orders.
  • Orders from the webstore will go into SiteGiant.
  • SiteGiant can be used to build a webstore or landing page.
  • Shopping App requires to subscribe OMO as add on.
  • Relying only on a marketplace is risky because the customer base, customer data, and platform rules are controlled by the marketplace.
  • If a marketplace store is suspended or marketplace visibility drops after an algorithm change, sales can stop immediately.
  • A webstore helps you build your own business asset, strengthen branding, and sell through a channel you control.

Unicart vs ERP Webstore

Unicart is the older webstore system. It is being phased out and no longer receives enhancements.

ERP Webstore is the current webstore system in SiteGiant ERP. It continues to receive updates and improvements.
